Jane Inyang (b.1997, Namibia) is a Nigerian artist raised in Namibia, Botswana and so called-Australia. Having worked across Boorloo, Ngunnawal, and Gadigal Country, her practice explores themes of disconnection and transformation - inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences of belonging and connection.
In 2019, her first film ‘Australian Sweetheart’ won Best Art Direction at the Canberra Short Film Festival and her work has been exhibited at Triskel Arts Centre (2019) and Fremantle Festival (2024).
As a DJ, she has a penchant for music from the African and Black diaspora and has played alongside acts such as Erika de Casier, DJ SWISHA, Sampa the Great and Marcellus Pittman.
